Background

Dr. Ho was born in Vietnam but lived in Northern California for over 25 years. He earned a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis. He then spent a few years in a variety of positions such as infectious diseases researcher, emergency medical technician, and high school teacher. Dr. Ho then returned to UC Davis for medical school. There, he participated in free clinics that provided services such as cancer screening, and he was also avidly involved in cancer research. These experiences solidified his goal of becoming a radiation oncologist, and he was excited to learn that he would be attending The University of Arizona for his radiation oncology residency. Dr. Ho completed his internship in internal medicine at UCSF-Fresno with a distinction in research. Outside of work, his interests include cooking, hiking, recreational sports, competitive trivia and games, DIY projects, traveling, and returning to California to spend time with family and friends.
