Steven Sckolnik, MD

Dr. Sckolnik is originally from Phoenix Arizona and received his bachelors degree at Northwestern University in Chicago Illinois.  He returned home for his graduate studies and obtained his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson Arizona. He completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco California.  He is committed to strengthening the field of radiation oncology and as such serves on the ASTRO Governmental Relations Committee as well as the Congressional Relations Subcommittee. He has presented original research on new techniques for accelerated partial breast irradiation as well as radiosurgery for trigeminal neuralgia. 

 

His interests include cooking, traveling, hiking and oenology. He is a devoted Arizona Wildcats basketball fan.
